Sanctuary at the Shore is a not for profit, faith based, mission driven community that dates back to the founding Sisters of Mercy in 1831. Sanctuary at the Shore has always been committed to providing personalized quality care through a mission based devotion to the people it serves. Sanctuary at the Shore is an extension of this health care ministry, offering long-term care and rehabilitation services.

Sanctuary at the Shore is a member of Trinity Senior Living Communities, a division of Trinity Health and part of the third largest Catholic health system in the United States. Sanctuary at the Shore is an affiliate of Mercy Health Partners in Muskegon and Saint Mary’s Mercy Medical Center in Grand Rapids, and The Village at the Oaks.
